Jerry Lee Hanbery obtained his Juris Doctorate and dual B.A. degrees from the University of Florida where he was President of the John Marshall Bar Association, a member of Florida Blue Key, Vice Magister of Phi Delta Phi and Editor in Chief of Florida Journal of International Law.

 

In addition to his law and undergraduate degrees, Jerry has an MA in Ethics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance and Technology.

His practice entails land use, litigation, insurance defense, real estate law, business law, agriculture law, and intellectual property. He has worked as a litigator, real estate broker, CEO, CCO, COO, and General Counsel in both private practice and several companies. His experience has been in tech start-ups, large investment firms focusing on real estate, and construction companies.

Jerry is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar, Texas Bar, Orange County Bar Association, and was in executive leadership in the Association of Corporate Counsel.

 

He is also actively involved in conservation and wetlands preservation. Specifically, he is the State chair of Ducks Unlimited, is involved in Scouts, and manages a cattle ranch in Central Florida.
